Captain Bob and Mate Jason worked very hard to put us on fish. We knew, going out, weather conditions weren't going to be favorable but they pushed boundaries to try to get us out to the stream. The Wahoo and Tuna lived to see another day but not for lack of trying. The stop on the way back in, to load the box with really nice size Mangrove Snappers, was icing on the cake. Thanks for a great day on the water!

The weather didn't work out well for us, but Cpt Bob and the Sundance team gave us the best fishing opportunities given the weather we had. Everyone one in our party caught a sailfish - which was objective 1. We also caught mackerel and a few yellow fin snappers. Cpt Bob was absolutely superb and has a million stories to tell. We enjoyed our experience very much.

First time as far as ocean fishing goes and it was one heck of a memorable experience and it was all due to captian Jason Bell he put me on the fish rite away, caught my limit of yellow tail in about 4 minutes and then hit some deeper water and got my limit of black tail tuna and it was unreal, tuna everywhere and then finished up with some mahi which was one of the fish I wanted to catch for sure. Will definitely be back and will definitely be asking for the same captian, the guy truly knew what he was doing.

Captain Jason put us on fish early, limited us within about an hour on Mangroves, headed off to a wreck where we caught a Nice Jack, lost a fish, landed 2 big muttons and got sharked on another nice mutton. Headed offshore, found a bunch of throw back Mahi and finally got into some keeper mahi. Headed back to another wreck and hooked into 2 fish, both came off and finished the day on an 8 Hour Mahi Offshore Combo. One of the best charter trips I've ever taken

Great guy's to fish with!! We caught lot's of black-fin tuna and one blue-fin all of which were 10-12lbs! Unfortunately, all I wanted to catch is Mahi-Mahi. We got skunked! We chased all the other charters all day, hitting known honey holes and sweet spots. Although we had a great time, the boat was small for our family of 6 and two additional crew. We sported sunburns the rest of the trip. Our bad! Don't forget to re-apply! Wear a hat as there is no shade. We've been on several deep sea fishing charters. Make sure you know what's involved, as it can be a long day!

Shout out to Captain Willy, First Mate Todd, Bryan White and Sundance Sportfishing Florida Keys for an incredible mahi charter. Caught more mahi than we could count. Filled the box, even with letting a lot swim free. Even got a nice blackfin tuna. Highly recommend Sundance. They'll take care of you.

Capt Jason and Todd were phenomenal! Professional, knowledgeable of the fishing areas and fun guys to be on a boat with! They alone made our outing much better than some of the other charters we’ve been on. Also, They put us on fish when other boats couldn’t catch a wave. Bryan, the owner was outgoing and took us last minute without hesitation after we got canceled on our booked charter. 10-10 recommend!

Great time with a great charter. While the waves didn’t agree with my stomach, the captain and crew took care of my wife and daughter, helping them catch a ton of snapper. Highly recommend!

The captain was great. The boat was clean with good quality gear and very professional captain. We caught mangrove snapper and yellowtails until we were tired of reeling.

Captain Willie is a hell of a captain put us on fish Every day ! Mate Todd was very efficient and worked very hard to keep our lines full of fish. Went out three straight days and caught dolphins 8,24,14 ! Would definitely recommend these guys.

My wife and I had a fantastic trip with Captain Willie on the Sundance May 22, 2024. We were greeted at the dock bright and early at 4:45 am with the flags noticeably drooping with the lack of wind which was pointed out by our knowledgeable leader. After loading up the live well with the fresh mullet that first mate Todd secured with a 12’ cast net earlier, Captain fired up the twin 300 hp Yamies as Todd loosened the lines from the dock and we headed out to the 7 mile bridge. Jane and I fish Alaska for salmon and halibut, Cape Cod for striped bass and Albies, Tampa Bay for specs and redfish, Maine for brook trout, on our Boston Whaler for flounder, sea trout and bluefish BUT never ventured out to the Florida Keys for the mighty tarpon. With each venue comes a learning curve unique to each experience and Captain Willie with his very personable and friendly style taught us the system of live lining a mullet on a circle hook using both spinning and conventional systems. All this in the dark without a single crossed line or tangle! Captain did his job and put us on our quarry. We encountered numerous tarpon of immense proportions rolling and slapping the surface throughout our six and a half hours. No one was interested in our offering of fresh mullet so Todd went to Plan B. He hooked up a crab with a weight and float and drifted it back fifty yards and retrieved to no avail. We managed to hook into a shark and several toothy Cudas. Taking friends on my boat I am well aware that that there are times when you can put them right on fish and sometimes they just won’t cooperate. Just last week we headed to the Raritan Bay in New York for striped bass. Had plenty of big marks on the machine and not one hit. Charter Captains were all echoing the same results on the VHF. So realizing this at the 5.5 hour, I told Captain to trust me and it wasn’t necessary to beat a dead horse and it was okay tohead in. In response he stayed an extra half hour in hopes we might get one to start ripping drag! That’s the kind of operation he runs which makes my wife and I repeat customers for life! I mentioned Willie and Todd’s expertise, professionalism and downright friendly demeanor but I would be remiss if I did not include the booking manager Bryan making a perfect trifecta. He answered all of my questions and his enthusiasm for the charter sold me into booking with Sundance. If you’re looking for a true, no nonsense trip for tarpon or mahi whether you’re a seasoned pro looking for another Captain or a first timer, I heartily endorse Captain Willie to take you onboard and he’ll put you on fish. PERIOD!!!

Was a Great 1st experience!!! Capt. Willie and first mate Todd were awesome, and very helpful. The knowledge between the two was seen, and they worked well together. This made for an unbelievable trip for my daughter and I!! Cannot say enough about this experience from booking to the end of trip.

Captain Bob had us on tarpon and jack fish within 30 minutes of leaving the doc...outstanding day of fellowship and memories. A true expert in his field and I highly recommend.

Went out with Captain Willie and 1st Mate Todd and had a GREAT time. Trolled for Mahi and got 3 smaller ones. Had a double on Wahoo, got a nice Bonita, plus a few other varieties. Topped the day off with a 53.5", 40+ lb. King Mackeral. Thanks Capt. Willie and Todd.

Great 1/2 day trip with CPT Bob and mate Todd. Lots of fish caught and very fun to hang out with! Kept a few to eat but caught many more including a shark. Would definitely recommend!

This was an epic trip timed perfectly with the Gulf Stream. Record breaking conditions to chase bills. It takes a very experienced captain and first mate to take advantage of what most wouldn’t see as an opportunity to finally check off that bucket list (trophy fish). At the end of the day or crew landed 6 beautiful sails and still had time to reef fish on the way home so we could pack those freezers.

I've always wanted to catch a shark and Captain Bob and Todd made sure I did. Two large ones, to be exact! We also caught several dinner fish and quite a few other fish. We caught something almost every cast. Highly recommend and I will be booking another trip with Captain Bob next time I'm in the Keys!

What a great day with Captain Bob and first mate Todd! We are novices and told Bob that we just wanted to catch some fish! All of us had a great time. Each of us caught the biggest fish we had ever caught. The variety of fish was really outstanding. A highlight was a King Mackerel my son landed. What a fighter. We really enjoyed our trip with Sundance Sportfishing and recommend Bob and crew if you are in Marathon!

Captain Bob and first mate Todd were amazing. Went out for a half day fishing trip with my family (5 people). Boat was the perfect size and very clean with lots of space. Bob and Todd were extremely helpful - teaching newbies and setting everyone up. Not to mention they even helped my brother fish with a broken foot!! Caught tons of fish of different varieties. Bob filleted them for us when we returned and we had dinner for days! Will visit again next time we are in marathon.

It was the best captain. my kids And I caught The most fish ever on a fishing trip! —-we fought some 200 -300 LBS fish. He knew the best spots and this was the best fishing by far we have ever been on. Super nice guys and great for my 13 year old. We caught barracuda, shark , amberjack , yellow tails, snapper , so many fish !!!!

This was our second year on vacation fishing with Sundace Charters. Went Tarpon fishing the last two days and saw tons of Tarpon. We had a great day with Capt. Bobby and mate Todd yesterday! After the first spot yielded little, Capt. Bobby got us to a better spot where we kept catching yellowtail snapper until the spot went dry. We were then taken to a sunken wreck where we caught a couple of different species of snapper, but best of all, we landed two 36"-40" amberjacks. Our arms are a little sore this morning, but it was well worth it. Bobby and Todd have been fishing these waters for many years and know exactly where to go to make it a trip to remember! Had a great 1/2 day for spring break! Took us all over to make sure we had a nice day and could catch as much as possible. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a friendly and professional charter.

I booked a 3/4 day for my son's graduation and we had a fantastic time. The day started with some weather issues but that quickly passed. Capt. Always an amazing time fishing with Captain Bob! It was extremely windy the day our trip was booked and certainly could have been cancelled. Captain Bob is more than accommodating and took us to a great Snapper spot. Far enough out to catch a lot of fish, but not too far to get in the rough seas. His First Mate Todd works his butt off to ensure everyone has a good time and catches fish! Can't wait till our next trip! This was our 2nd fishing trip with Captain Sean to celebrate my husband's birthday. We caught Mutton, Mangrove, Yellow Tail and my husband's favorite, the Barracuda! Captain Sean is very knowledgeable and professional. He makes sure you have a great time. Any time we're in the Keys, we will only fish with Captain Sean!

Yesterday was a very enjoyable and productive day with the Sundance crew (captain Shawn and boat mate Todd). They had a never die attitude for finding the fish. 8 Tuna, 15 Mahi and 1 good size Triple tail. Very respectful and attentive to our needs. Will reccomend to anyone wanting a professional charter. Spent a full day yesterday with my two sons and Captain Bob and Sean out on the wrecks and reefs and it was just awesome. They could not have made the day more enjoyable and, importantly, more productive as we caught a 300 lb bull shark, a few lemon sharks, some awesome mutton snapper, amberjack, and other fun to catch (and tasty to eat) fish. They were fun, so knowledgeable about where to fish, and sadly the 8 hours went by way too fast. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is intetested in fishing in Marathon Key.

We were going on vacation in Key West and we decided to stop in Marathon and go on a fishing charter with Captain Bob. Our friends highly recommended him. He and and his first mate were so nice! It was the best part of our vacation!!! We had a blast catching a plethora of species including a large shark, some delicious snappers and too many others to mention!

Great day on the water. Went with Captain Shawn and took wife and 4 kids including a 2 yr old. Caught lots of fish and kept all of the kids happy. Definitely recommend this charter for any one in the keys.

We fished 2 days with Capt. Bob following a strong cold front in April. Despite the disruption to the fishery, we were put on some awesome blackfin tuna and a monster sailfish. Highly recommend Sundance Sportfishing. Can't wait to come back!

March 22nd charter with Captain Bobby Brown was an incredible experience. The action literally never stopped for our group of 5 on board the Sundance Eagle. As much Snapper as we could catch. Kingfish (including two that were 45 lb and 30 lb), Spanish mackerel, black tip sharks, porgy etc. rounded out a wide variety that we landed. Captain Bobby's ​expertise was on display as he at one point had us fishing using 4 different approaches simultaneously. You have to experience kite fishing! Captain Shawn Creviston rounded out our top notch crew and was equally impressive in his knowledge of fishing in the Keys. Our charter was the highlight of our trip to the Keys. Sundance Sportfishing will be the only charter service we ever use again in South Florida!

Captain Bob and his mate were easy going, attentive and considerate to our needs (one of us was prone to sea sickness). He and his mate kept us busy fishing the whole time. Our lines were always in the water. Loved the boat as well! We will be a repeat customers!

Capt Bob was an awesome guide. He made us feel like he truly enjoyed being on the water and was very personable. I've been on other guided trips and the captains usually act like snobs and don't really interact with us but Captain Bob seemed to enjoy us on his boat. We caught way more fish than I ever have before. We caught: Spanish mackerel, king mackerel, nurse shark, black tip reef shark, a lot of different kinds of snapper, blue runners, cobia, a 12foot saw fish and the list goes on. It was an awesome experience. We kept 20 of the snappers and the 1st mate filleted them for us. We took those to a restaurant and they cooked them up for us. Eating what we caught was a great way to end the perfect fishing day. I look forward to going back.

Have gone fishing with captain Bob and captain Shawn 3 times. They always accommodate and they're high level of customer service will keep us coming back. We have always caught a boatload of fish.
