Do I need to purchase a fishing license to fish on your boat?

Your fishing license is covered under the captain’s license and you will NOT need to purchase one.

How many people can we bring on the boat?

There is a 6-person maximum per boat. If you have a larger group, we can arrange a multi-boat charter.

What happens if there is going to be bad weather?

If the trip is canceled, the entire cost of the charter will be fully refunded. Inclement weather is based on the captain’s discretion.

What is the standard tip for a fishing charter captain & mate?

A minimum 20% tip is customary for excellent service.

Is there a taxidermist you recommend?

Yes, ask your captain for details.

What is your cancellation policy?

You may cancel a charter anytime outside 14 days from your charter date for a 100% refund. 
We also offer Peek Protect, an added protection feature for your booked charter. When selected during checkout, this feature protects all or some of your charter purchase price, in case of an unforeseen event that causes YOU to cancel the trip within 14 days from your charter. With Peek Protect added, you may cancel up to 24 hours, and ‘Spot’ will refund 100% of the purchase price chosen during checkout. Now you can rest easy knowing that if life throws you a curveball, you have protection and Sundance Sportfishing Florida Keys on your side.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes; 3-4 hour trips are $100 and 6-8 hour trips are $200.
