Have gone fishing with captain Bob and captain Shawn 3 times. They always accommodate and they're high level of customer service will keep us coming back. We have always caught a boatload of fish. On the trip this week my four kids said it was the best day ever fishing. Thank you guys see you in the summer.

Went sportfishing for 2 days this January with two different services - Captain Bob and Shawn far excelled in their knowledge and experience. If you want to have a great (and successful) day - this is who you need to work with. No comparison!

We were going on vacation in Key West and we decided to stop in Marathon and go on a fishing charter with Captain Bob. Our friends highly recommended him. He and and his first mate were so nice! It was the best part of our vacation!!! We had a blast catching a plethora of species including a large shark, some delicious snappers and too many others to mention!

Spent a full day yesterday with my two sons and Captain Bob and Sean out on the wrecks and reefs and it was just awesome. They could not have made the day more enjoyable and, importantly, more productive as we caught a 300 lb bull shark, a few lemon sharks, some awesome mutton snapper, amberjack, and other fun to catch (and tasty to eat) fish. They were fun, so knowledgeable about where to fish, and sadly the 8 hours went by way too fast.

I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is intetested in fishing in Marathon Key.

We have chosen Captain Bob for 3 years of fishing in the keys, and never regretted a minute of our experience! He knows the waters around there so well, and if one spot isn't producing fish he has plenty of others to check out. He and Captain Shawn work hard to put you on the fish and show you a great time. Highly recommend this company, their years of experience shows! We've come home with coolers full of fish to enjoy all year, and,even better, tons of memories to enjoy forever! We will be seeing them again this year and we can't wait!

I booked a 3/4 day for my son's graduation and we had a fantastic time. The day started with some weather issues but that quickly passed. Capt. This was our 2nd fishing trip with Captain Sean to celebrate my husband's birthday. We caught Mutton, Mangrove, Yellow Tail and my husband's favorite, the Barracuda! Captain Sean is very knowledgeable and professional. He makes sure you have a great time. Any time we're in the Keys, we will only fish with Captain Sean!

...The best captain. My kids and I caught the most fish ever on a fishing trip! We fought some 200 - 300 LBS fish. He knew the best spots and this was the best fishing by far we have ever been on. Super nice guys and great for my 13 year old. We caught barracuda, shark, amberjack , yellow tails, snapper, so many fish!!!!

Always an amazing time fishing with Captain Bob! It was extremely windy the day our trip was booked and certainly could have been cancelled. Captain Bob is more than accommodating and took us to a great Snapper spot. Far enough out to catch a lot of fish, but not too far to get in the rough seas. His First Mate Todd works his butt off to ensure everyone has a good time and catches fish! Can't wait till our next trip! We had a wonderful day with Bob and Todd. We went fishing for yellow tailed snapper and caught some great ones to eat for dinner. They were exceptional in how much teaching they did. They helped us learn new techniques and told us about the local area and fishing tactics. Whether you're very experienced or brand new I know you'd have a good day out with Sundance.

What a great day with Captain Bob and first mate Todd! We are novices and told Bob that we just wanted to catch some fish! All of us had a great time. Each of us caught the biggest fish we had ever caught. The variety of fish was really outstanding. A highlight was a King Mackerel my son landed. What a fighter. We really enjoyed our trip with Sundance Sportfishing and recommend Bob and crew if you are in Marathon!

First mahi experience for our son! Booked with the Sundance eagle for the 4th of July. Our first offshore experience for mahi-mahi. Everyone caught plenty of fish and Capt Sean kept us on fish Constantly. Will book with them next time we are down in the keys.

Reef and Wreck Fishing! We had a wonderful family trip with Captain Bob and Todd! Our goal was to catch fish to eat and we did just that! Lots of Yellowtail snapper and mangrove snapper. We even saw a bull shark go after a yellowtail. Both Captain Bob and Todd were very patient with all of us and made sure our 8 yr old was having fun. Thank you for a wonderful day! I can’t forget to mention the great recommendation of taking our fresh catch to Lazy Days restaurant to be prepared. It was delicious!!!

Great Trip! Capt. Bobby was able to be flexible with his dates due to a rough week of weather. He worked out the best day to take us out and we had a blast. My 9 year old son and father went along. First Mate Shawn along with Bobby made sure my son was the center of the trip. Helping him all day and even stopping to grab him an ice cream cone on the trip home. They worked hard through some rough water and we never stopped catching fish. Exciting waves, great fishing, dolphin pods, very personable and knowledgeable. Running over 40 knots was a thrill of its own. Great day!

Best charter ever! I fished on Friday 3/23/13 off shore hoping to catch BF Tuna and what a day we had, it was one we will be talking about for years to come. We were 26 miles from Marathon with birds diving and fish breaking all around us. We landed 21 fish which is a super day. Capt Bob and wife Anne are true pros whent it comes to this venue. All the equipment was the best you could ask for and the boat was immaculate. In the morning before we got to the boat Capt Bob was out getting live bait, we had all the ammo in the livewell plus a case of chum if the Tuna didn't cooperate. This team runs a first class operation, so look no further and book early if your headed for Marathon, FL.

An incredible experience! My nephew and I fished aboard the Sundance with Capt. Bob and Anne Brown in the spring of 2012. What an incredible time we had! We spent two-and-a-half days aboard the Sundance ... Strong winds, high seas, and unfavorable currents made fishing (and catching) a bit more challenging than usual — but I wouldn't have changed a thing!

This is when I understood that we made the right decision to go with Sundance. Captain Bob Brown Jr.'s experience, knowledge, and sheer passion for the sport of fishing really shined through... We caught so many kinds of fish... Mahi, Tuna, Jack Cravelle, snapper, grouper(released) catfish, Ladyfish, Spanish Mackerel, some huge Tarpon (almost landed — but still amazing) ... and even a puffer fish (released) — and more — so many, I forget!

Although we tried, we didn't catch any sails... but neither did anyone else in the area (according to the vhf radio). In fact, given the unfavorable, but not unsafe, conditions... the Sundance was among just a few charter boats that ventured out in the strong winds and unfavorable currents (thanks Capt. Bob for understanding that we didn't come to Marathon just to enjoy the pool at our hotel, but at the same time keeping us safe)

I must mention that Capt. Bob has the greatest 1st mate... Anne Brown! I've been on plenty of other charters... suffice it to say that having Anne on the boat is like having two experienced guides, for the price of one!

Another bonus is that the Sundance is docked at the 7-Mile Marina. It's a cool place with a tiki bar that is just a few feet from the Sundance's dock. Even better... the kitchen is ready to cook your catch... any way and every way you like ... grilled, smoked, and/or fried!

And a word or two about the Sundance... A 32' Century centerconsole powered by 500 horespower. Anne and Capt. Bob keep her spotlessly clean... along with first-class fishing equipment and tackle. Nothing but the best...

We are so looking forward to spending another 3 days aboard the Sundance!
