Late fall usually sees a big increase in the number of Sailfish moving through the Florida Keys and this year is holding true as the bite has been hot this week! Some sails have been coming up to the reef edge showering ballyhoo putting us on them with Frigate bird activity up and down the reef edge. Current rips just off the edge of the reef have been producing sails as well in 110-220ft of water using live pilchards, ballyhoo or goggle eyes.
Some nice Mahi are still around also, along with nice wahoo in the 150-300 ft depth range. Give us a call if you are interested in some of this great action @ (305) 699-8485. Good luck in all of your fishing adventures!
